Xin Tong is a guest contributor and lender of her surname for the first syllable of chowloh.com. She considers herself a typical Raleigh sumandak that climbs trees, an extraordinary Malaysian tree hugger that stands up for world peace, so-to-say. She also salutes musicians and believes that everyones has one in themselves, a comment that would endear her to William Hung. She has her own blog Best Damn Things, epitomising that her blog is hers and his blog is hers too.




Shih Chung is the blog owner, dreamer and original author of Travelogue: A Photo Blog. He is a late developer of all sorts who hopes to have a meaningful existence and give due time to the different stages in life. He believes everyone has some idea of how life should be lived. But since no one person has all the answers, meeting new people and being in new environments helps him develop a wider perspective.

That's why he enjoys long term volunteer work, independent travel, and working holidays. These throw him out of his comfort zone that he may live different roles at different places. Almost like having several lifetimes. His family name makes up the second part of chowloh.com.

They both first met through Raleigh, going for separate expeditions in Borneo Sabah and later, working closely in the Raleigh KL committee. Thereafter when the chance came, they decided to take a work holiday to Australia in 2009 and more.
